Working as a carpenter/laborer for my neighbor growing up I realized one of the common conversations on the job site was about how everyone had taken their turn with back pain. Then from lifting too many boards I had my own experience with middle back and rib cager pain. My co-workers had all gone to a chiropractor that also happened to be my neighbor and recommended I give him a try. The relief was almost instantaneous and a light bulb went off for me that I needed to help others have life with less pain. I attended Southern Illinois University for my undergraduate studies and then my doctorate of chiropractic at University of Western States in Portland. My wife and I have lived in Bend now for over 20 years and raised two beautiful daughters here.
When not in the office I have enjoyed coaching my girls in soccer, getting out on the trails biking or hiking and have even spent time as a national ski patroller at Mt. Bachelor.
